Thanks for dropping by. I am Ian Young, I have the privilege of being the current President of Tintagel Sea Angling Club, and what an amazing club it is hosting regular socials for our members to our popular Open and Bass competitions.

All About Me

Our President

A retired landlord of the hotel where the club has held it's meetings since 2007.

Prior to taking on the esteemed role of President, I held the post of Treasurer for a few years.

I have been a keen fisherman since my mum took me mackerel fishing at Port Gaverne back in 1958.

Some of my fishing highlights include having a boat moored out of Boscastle and could often be found out on the waves.

Catching a 10lb Bass

More recently catching a Cornwall Country record Trigger Fish .

I am really proud to be associated with Tintagel SAC and the great work the club does in promoting sustainable sea fishing through our annual catch and release Bass Competition.

Oh, I almost forgot, I am also an avid Spurs fan.
